MM1 MFP Garage Rocket Car?

Hello - If this topic's been discussed already I genuflect with apology, but has there ever been discussion about what that white-colored "rocket car" is that Max, Goose, and the mechanic so nonchalantly walk past in the MFP garage in MM1? It seemed like a fairly mind-blowing vehicle (like a land-speed record vehicle), but I've never seen discussion about it. I'd have to fight the urge to walk back and rip off the white sheet to learn more about it, even if I was being blown-away by a Black V-8 Interceptor with a blower! Any thoughts?

Yes it has been discussed previously, but no matter.....

Not much info out there on the rocket car and I have actually tried a google search for Australian Land Speed attempts to see if the same car appeared anywhere.

The large "barrel" type body indicates an old centrifugal jet engine as used by RAAF Vampires, Sea Venom etc.... British jet fighters from the 1940/50 and 60s....

The engine would be a Rolls Royce "Nene" or "Ghost"... these engines were available on the market in those days at government auctions when the aircraft were retired from service.

The exact same type of jet engine is mounted on "Aunty's" car in MM3....

Thank you sir - It saves me wading through 992 different topics trying to find it. But it would be fun having the whole story on that, since it's such an odd addition to the garage scene. Hope all's well.
