Hey guys just thought I would pass along the info that Jalopnik is going to team up with the makers of Forza 3 to come out with some special release car packs for the game. In one pack there is a Monaro and in another there is an XB! Just thought I would pass this along so that you guys can vote up and get these cars in the game.

that's awesome thanks for sharing. but what would really knock my socks off would be a full on aussie muscle car pack. seriously austrailian muscle cars are some of the best i've seen in the world of muscle and not just because of mad max. if anything ,3d modeling mad max cars has sent my researching the australian motor industry as a whole and i'm very impressed with what i see. why aren't there any australian software houses bringing to the masses the secrets of these well designed beasts?

australian game designers putting muscle cars in a game.. you don't know the state of australian game design, that's for sure. the three biggest houses went bust, what's left is about as famous as an average indie game (privateer).

The only games i know of that had Australian cars were Dirt Track Racer, V8 supercars and Need for Speed 3: Hot Pursuit.
fortunately there are Modders out there, check out Touring Car Legends for RFactor.

wow i didn't realize this was such a touchie subject for you aussie muscle. yes i don't know a lot about aussie gaming just as i know little to nothing of aussie cars because you don't share as much of your information as....you know what forget it it's not worth getting into a battle with you over this. i don't know what's going on with you but lately you seem to be on a real negative kick.

as for x-box and fronza i own it cause i don't get into politics with gaming cause it ruins the spirit of gaming and you end up missing out on some actualy good games. not to mention (being someone who owns all 3 consoles both past and present.) that some games actualy play better control wise on one console vs the other. mercinaries 1 is a great example of this i found it frustratingly counter intuitive to play on my playstation yet it played like a dream on x-box. and all consoles have exclusives worth picking up. fronza is a modders dream in console form as it does allow for artistic types like myself and my son to really make our own paint jobs and work with the cars in ways i have seen in no other games.

can i defend microsoft no i can't i am not entirely a fan of windows but i don't like the macs i've worked with either and my ipods become a expensive paper weight. i can respect if you have principles with companies and are very protective of what you support. i used to be just like you but for me i've found a rich life in my choices of entertianment and wouldn't trade it for a closed mind i find in people who are strongly against a porduct (especialy those who have never tired it and yet feel they have the experience to speak on said products.)

if they put the falcon and manoro in i'd gladly fork over the money for fronza 3 if not then i'm kinda going away from racing games as of late for more creative indevors. and yes thank god for modders i am one who will resuming my works with the fine ausstralian motors from mad max later this year as well as set peices like the compound from road warrior/mad max 2.

don't get me wrong, i'd buy fronza if they released it on Windows. i'm not inclined to buy an xbox. (i've done my time on consoles, from megadrive to playstation 1 and everything in between). my pc is my gaming platform now.

now that i can respect it was well throught out and to the point with out adding in anything that would sound like useless hate speech.

i've quit consoles in the future just because it's getting to be too expensive to game anymore and really there aren't a lot of new titles that appeal to gentlement like myself who are getting older and are no longer marketed to. but i like the simplicity of controls (at times) with consoles. i just wish they were modable like pc games tend to be when one makes tools for them. and i like not shelling out so much to upgrade my pc more often then i do for a console i can't afford that either so i've not bought new pc's,graphics cards or games in a few years now. what i enjoy i guess is knowing that when i put in a console game it will work,no worries that my ram won't hold out or that the graphics card can't support x feature or that it will kill my system all together (blown a laptop that way.)

but that doesn't mean i don't like pc's or pc gaming i couldn't imagine starcraft on a pc though halo wars did play surpisingly well on a console controler. like with consoles there is always a pc exclusive to enjoy and this tax season i am getting a major upgrade to my rig for the first time in a long time. (mainly so i can finish up the mad max trilogy mod for some future car games to enjoy.)
