Hi Friends,

I'm a longtime Mad Max fan from the States, I live in Arkansas and just wanted to drop by and say hello! I just ordered a couple of inexpensive toy shotguns that I am going to customize to look like Max's famous Shotgun. Thought this would be a fun place to start a build thread.

Anyway, thanks for having me and I can't wait to get to know everyone. My DREAM, hopefully, is to have a replica Mad Max Black on Black Interceptor someday. I want it to LOOK all rough and tumble, not clean and pristine. If you know what I'm saying! But that will have to wait until I can afford it, unless someone wants to give me a starter car and bring it to the ole US of A?! haha

Anyway, thanks again for allowing me to join! Can't wait to meet you all!

Welcome, Chuck. You're in the right place. Check the Costumes and Props section for my shotgun mod thread, as well as others'.

Yeah, definitely browse for a while in the costumes and props section (or do a search for "shotgun" there). You'll see a lot of replica shotgun versions people have done. Everything for wood and plastic to sawing off the real thing.
And if you need screenshots to work off of, I can email you some (but mine are mostly from the second movie, which features a slightly different shotgun). If you PM me your email address I can send them your way.

This part of the forum is for fan events though, like the upcoming Road Warrior Weekend in California Nov.20th. This thread should really be moved to the costumes and props section. Maybe the mods can take care of that.
