I don't begrudge anyone doing MM stuff. It's not like he's claiming it's original. Unless your issue is that he said the MFP wears "bad leather jackets."

A replica is a copy or reproduction in my book. Although the vintage is not where I would like it to be (1970's) it still classifies as a replica to me.

I think calling that one a replica is a stretch. I'd call it 'inspired by' or maybe a recreation. Is does have a replica paint job. Replica or not, he does get an 'A' for effort. I'm glad to see people doing Mad Max-type work regardless.

I got a kick out of how he measured the engine in cubic centimeters. I thought only motorcycles did that. Or is that the way they do it in the UK?

I think it is great. Have you read his description? Looks like a real fan, using what he has available to him. what a journey he took it on. It is close to me, I might even take a look. OK, it is a 1990 something vehicle, but done in the spirit of Mad MAx. Give the man a break. Good effort I say?

Humvee -> In Europe they always say xx liter engine. 2 liters is big, and if you have a v6 it's something special. V8 and you are either rich or stupid.

I have to agree on the "Mad Max inspired" statement. But the paint job is a pretty good replication of the real deal!

i resent that. so does Max!! :o

that mondeo doesn't really have the right 'cool' factor to make a good mfp car. well executed, but doesn't look right.
