These are some test shots of a project I was working on a while ago which never got completed. I was setting up some Mad Max flavored multiplayer gamemodes in the Grand Theft Auto San Andreas multiplayer mod. These are just teaser shots as I was working on vehicle spawning and placement.

Hi Cryptman
Welcome to the board!
Thanks for posting these vids, I believe there's another member here who worked on the SA RW mod..
Could you please tell us a bit more on these projects, are they totally in the bin? or is there a chance to see them rise in another game mod?
(currently working on couple of MM1 3D models and would eventually like to have them baked for a Mod)
Also you might be interested in knowing that Donut Dale, the original stunt guy for the MM1 donuts is also a member here...
One last thing are you currently a fallen earth player? I've followed your previous link and read a few threads of their forum, but seems a little confusing at first..
and a lot of old beta players around make it a bit intimidating, any insights?

I don't believe I will try and redo the game modes in any other game environment. I just don't have the time to do all the coding involved, which is what stalled these initially. The game modes were going to be set up as chases naturally, with one player assuming the role of let's say, the Nightrider, and the other players would be the MFP. Another variation would be to place one player driving the tanker truck with other players as marauders trying to force him off the road. I actually set up a whole section of the map with wrecks along the roads, and cars placed at strategic locations. As it is, it's actually a fun sandbox environment of Mad Max/RW themed locales, but sadly no official chase gamemodes.
I was able to set up a "race" scenario however, and I called it MFP Training, restricting it to police cruisers. I implemented some of the custom MM/RW models released on the GTAForums. When I get some time, I'll try and make some more videos highlighting these models in action.
I found some screenshots from my server. Credit of course goes to the model programmers, but I have areas like this in place all over my map.

Wow,..... I had no idea all three yellow MFP Falcons had been done in low poly, and rather well...
It's both, inspiring and at the same time depressing
I would of personally loved to see a Flat Out anarchy road mod, (...love the the way the car damages & break-ups are represented)
but I guess there's no chance of that either since most of the Flat Out modders have migrated to GTA and/or other grounds

Regarding Fallen Earth, I do play it when time permits. I wouldn't be concerned about the beta players, as there is an in game chat channel specifically for new players. Everyone is extremely helpful, and the support staff are well represented.

to answer some questions. yes i and it seemed i alone was working on mad max/mad max 2/road warrior/thunderdome models some were converts, some were donated models and the rest were hand crafted mostly by me. oddly enough i came back onto the forum to announce that modeling phase of mad max/rw mod was going to be comenscing again and we'd see if anything at all came of it. but it's a mod i had to finish complete with alteast the road warrior compound which was damn near finished when i was stopping my work.
as for all three mfp cars. 2 are donated by the great ganjcia who was an italian modeler who donated to models as a specail favor. the xb...or was it xa march hare was actualy constructed out of of the other two cars by my brittish friend whom i still talk to.
another friend was converrting out cars over to flat out but that went bust when he had some deaths in the family and went through a terrible devoirce. poor sod.
as for the rest well it would be nice to be asked about using our models but frankly at this point only the rw mack can i truely claim ownership for because it was the only fully scratch built model i ever made that made it ingame.
but i plan to finish off most of the vehicles that i can for use in gaming and be done with it. the only movie i can't do much with is thunderdome. i've got great refs of the truck and the train truck and the cow car but as for the monster truck buggy i have shit to work with so don't expect mircles on that one. the rest are in various stanges of being useable but i am no skinner so without texture mappers the models will stay plain solid model color.
otherwise i'm impressed by the work done we at the mad max/rw mod always envisioned game modes being online with the vehicles but never could get it off the ground we wanted to make each county into a different stage of the movies but mapping(aside from my awesome compound.) never came to be as i lost most of my team to f---king world of warcraft. so we''ll see what the hell we can do with these models and see what the future holds for mad max gaming.
