Goose's burnt face cut scene (all time shock award)

I know for a fact that in the middle of the movie, when Max uncovers the sheet hiding Goose's burnt body, they cut the scene showing Goose's face. You only see a wavering effect on Max's face.
But I remember the scene. It is the most shocking horror I have ever seen. I remember being dazed for 10 minutes. I've been trying to find an uncut version, but it seems nobody except me has seen it (who knows where my friend got the tape from).

so its not a myth?? it must be rare as ive never seen it myself ,always used to hear about it as a kid lol,would love to see it

I always found the editing on that part of the movie a bit... "Special"
It could be a real possibility that they did show his face in an earlier cut, but then "cut" it because it was too much.

Never seen this scene, in whichever oddball vhs id picked up or such. Just always saw Max's face being fucked by what he saw.
I think youre a troll or a kiddo who done more acid than leary. Either or, bugger off.

Glad this has been brought up.
After seeing Mad Max 2 at the movies, I rented the first on VHS and remember this scene.
It clearly did show Goose's face only for a sec but has long been edited from re-releases.
Only chance is to find an original video shop release (very rare) and you may see it.
Will check my old copy but someone post a clip if found...
