The granada and the falcon share similier designs buts its not the same car
holden also have plenty of designs which are lifted from the opel range but are quite different in the flesh

I like the bonnet.
How does the graft job look on the underside?
I tried to do that to a torana bonnet. I wrecked a good xc gs bonnet and a good torana bonnet.
It's a difficult conversion to do.

...sorta slow motion. he leaves the seat, goes through the windscreen, headfirst straight into the tree...right. and then, bounces back through the windscreen. by the time we got to him.. he was just sittin there trying to scream with his face ripped off......whats the matter?

That bonnet looks real tough, and adds a nice touch to the XD.

Cheers,

Very nice XD ... I'm a big fan of the xb/c bonnet grafted on to other cars.

Here's a couple spotted at the '07 All Ford Day in Sydney

The panel guy who is doing my Goss just did one on a WB Holden One tonner ... he reckons it's as easy as grinding off the skin edge all round and unpicking the adhesive used between the inner and outer ... but I guess anything's possible when you know how.

I often see a Dihatsu Charade with an xb bonnet in the traffic on my way to work but am usually laughing so hard I can't get the camera phone thing together to record it for posterity.

There's a old red ford laser with the xc bonnet scoops on the Sunshine Coast.
And a BA falcon aswell. Guy has had to redo that 1 a few times as the difference in curvature of the bonnet and the infill keeps causing the filler to crack...and there is a lot of filler lol

That mods been done to alotta Fords here using the 71-73 Mach 1 scoop hood which is what the XB-XC is derived from. Now you can order a fiberglass hood with the Mustang 'Naca' scoops for your late model stang.
