Mad Max Exit Stage Left

There will never be another "Mad Max" movie, even if Miller gets his happy feet to stepping, because "Road Warrior" was the perfect conclusion. I am against all sequels (in general) though I did try to restore the series with "Mad Max Enters Arena". To me, the first movie is more like a prequel, the origin of Max. With "Road Warrior", the character has resolved his issues, and reclaimed his humanity. "The last we ever saw of him", indeed, because next we saw of him was "Thunderdome". Forget that, "Fury", and even "Arena", for "it's all over".

But what happened between MM and MM2 ????????????????????????????????

How did he get dog, the fuel tanks, the lower front broken off etc,etc,etc,etc.....? And what about the footage that Vernon Wells spoke of that was originally intended to be used at the opening of MM2?

You can see the front end get broken off in the first chase scene in "The Roadwarrior". But I am interested in how Max aquired Dog and when/why/where he added the fuel tanks and the background situation involving his world at the time. how did things progress from a semblance of ordinary civilization to anarchy so fast? The intro to The Roadwarrior leaves much of it to the imagination, at least for the immediate area that Max was in at the time.

If I get off me arse and finish it, I've been writing a fanfic for almost a year now that fills in the three year gap. Max still needs to aquire "Dog", break/cut off the lower front fascia, fit new zoomie tips and how he gets the "Turbine" rear wheels. The rest is in place already. I'll post it ONCE to let everyone read it and get some constructive feedback.

Does anyone else see the irony in these guys using one of my threads to spam their fics?
