By the way, if anyone is going to this and can make a recording, please let me know. From my experience there is usually no issue in making a tape recording of a lecture, I don't know about video. If in doubt, ask them when you make the booking.

Im a kicking myself in a big big big way.

I would have definatley gone, but...

Im going to be OS in the UK during october (getting back on the 27th would you believe?!?)

I'm sure there would be others in sydney ready to go, how about we put our heads together and get a SENSIBLE list of questions together which could be asked if there is a question time.

If there is a Q&A session, it would be interesting to have a few quality questions boiled down from the list - not juvenile ones, but a few that would be of most interest to everyone. I thought I'd try my hand at a few I'd like answered:

Off the top of my head:

1. George - what has become of some of the outtake footage and deleted scenes from Mad Max and are their any plans on restoring these before they're lost forever and/or releasing them in a video version such as we see in todays special edition laserdiscs and

DVD's?

2. Any idea whatever happened to some of the major props (other than Interceptors) and production designs/storyboards/sketches and where are they today and/or who is their caretaker? Followup: Any chance we could see a comprehensive Mad Max behind the scenes production type book such as we see of most other major films?

3. What's with the continuing theme of pigs being in all your movies? Coincidence?

regs,

Steve
Gotta hand it to ya treasure - the last of the V8 interceptors. Woulda been a shame to blow it up...
