they just keep coming man, and i still think they rival STAR WARS references and quotes, i don't give a sh*t what ya say.

More SIMPSONS, and i'm sure someones mentioned this before, but i ain't read it yet.

HOMER was writing a letter to the movie DIE HARD, like as if it was a person. He wrote

'Dear DIE HARD, you rock, especially that part with the guy on the roof of the skyscraper, PS. do you know MAD MAX?'

I laughed my cock off.

then on MYTHBUSTERS last night, they were gonna throw a stick of dynamite into a cement truck to crack concrete in it - TORY got into the drivers seat of the truck and said "I feel like MAD MAX" - even my boys laughed and had to triple check that i heard what he said.

I also remembered a funny FAMILY GUY one, where LOIS was about to fight her Karate trainer and she shouted to him "Spin the wheel - Raggedy Man". but i've baught that one up before, its just to funny though...

I love it.

A cartoon on Cartoon network had these girls looking into a glassed-in arena where there were Gladiators fighting, and she made the comment "How do we get in? This looks like some kind of Thunderdome."

The new show "Master Blasters"?????!!!

Anyone else seen Herbie Fully Loaded ?

It's more like Herbie Goes To Bartertown.

Herbie ends up in a smash-up-derby and the crowd starts yelling "Ten cars enter, one car leaves" over & over.

The best part of the film is near the start when Herbie has a street race against a Monaro (GTO)......Brilliant !!

I only saw it because I have an 8 year old daughter. Having said that I did love watching it.

You have to remember that kids movies these days have to have adult orientated references in them to get us oldies interested whilst filling in a couple of hours with the ankle biters.

Madagascar was the same. It contained some brilliant references to old movies that would have been totally over the heads of the kids but I found myself pissing myself laughing.

I agree with Dave on Madagasgar... "This place sucks." (penguins on finding Antartica)

Also, I saw an orange GM pickup with black NASCAR/Nomad wheels that had "MAD MATT" written in the dirt across the topper window yesterday at a Plymouth bar after work.

and i remember seeing a johnny bravo episode where he is on a safari ride in australia. he is day dreaming that hes on hunt for breadbags, hes wearing a mad max kind of jacket and so on...

Saw an episode of 'PIMP MY RIDE' last week where Exhibit sees the ride in question for the first time and on seeing the chains holding down the bonnet says something like "Man this is some kind of Mad Max sh*te ... straight outa Mad Max' ..
