Good day mates. Last weekend, while swimming in vodka I came up with a great idea. When the San Antonio 12 is exonerated due to rabid overzealousness (like them fancy words eh?) how about if we pool some cash and rent a billboard in LA. Movie exes and Mel himself might see it. It can read something like:

Hey Mel. Do Fury Road. Long Live the San Antonio 12.

Last I checked, a billboard along a major freeways runs about $3,000 U.S. per month.

If you are gonna choke up a c-note a day, you need to find THE billboard that you KNOW Mel sees every morning. One that is so well located, If he leaves the house just to go to Starbucks he almost has to trip over it.

True, but even if it's not installed directly above his Malibu (Beverly Hills, Compton, Watts, wherever) mansion, some smarmy yes-man will bring it to his attention. I was thinking somewhere around the airports, LAX or Ontario

wait a minute....Who ....are we( collective ) gonna try ( need to ) to convince? Mel or GEORGE MILLER?. if it turns out to be a prequel , Mel's contributions may be limited to just stacks of bennies.

..I don't think George will turn the rights over , and Fury Road will NOT have the box office draw that The Passion had , thus limiting Mel's overall interest. $$$ = motivation

....If Byron were still alive , we would not be having THIS discussion..4 would have been "in the can" years ago.........and other discussions would be ensuing.

.....If it's a prequel , maybee George is STILL LOOKING for period autos.....lol

I seriously believe Mel will have a change of heart after Star Wars III. SW3 is predicted to be such a monster hit that George Lucas will make more money than God. Hopefully, Mel will see the appeal of pandering to his fans and will make the damn movie!

Hey Feral Kid, what a GREAT concept! Reckon that may be worth some serious thought in the future.....a billboard message.....cool!!! Keep swimming in vodka, seems it inspires original thoughts in you (as well as an amazing influx of BIG words, where's my dictionary...)

Not that i like to encourage excessive consumption of alcohol, but as you're only swimming in it.....just wear the snorkel ok....

CrazyGirl: Thanks Lassie (the endearing term for female; NOT the dog). I actually forgot all about my idea until Wednesday night when I went for a little dip in the vodka pool. It would tough to organize, but with enough fans out there, I'm sure we could raise the funds.

Message to Everyone: Think of something quick and snappy for a potential billboard. The best chosen wording should short, sweet, simple, clever and to the point.

"HEY MEL. AT LEAST 12 FANS HAVE GONE TO JAIL FOR YOU. THE REST ARE WILLING AND ABLE. MAKE FURY ROAD"

yeh thats a pretty sick idea mate, just wish i could sit up on the billboard everday and yell out to him as he drives past
