Greetings all,


Learning how to model cars for an older game called Sports Car GT by EA, and soon I'll have the Black Max done, I plan on modeling a bunch of the vehicles from all 3 movies eventually, then I hope to actually build a track, some form of Broken Hill highways, or maybe even a desert loop around through the refinery..ka chunk ka chunk. If the screenshots below come through you'll see you can even get a big rig in the game, don't know if it'll be able to pull the tanker but we'll see, I think it'd be a blast on a lan (or internet to a limited extent) bashen each other, take turns driving the truck lol. Might look through your old games for SCGT, it came bundled in some pc wheel and other hardware, or it often can be found on the discount shelf at your local software store or through E-bay for as low as $5 Check out my homepage for customizing/patching the game.

Woo hoo..found this NFS4 Mack (which can be converted to SCGT I hope) from the movie "Convoy" Made by baardk I'll let you know if I can convert it :~)





Edit; Well never mind this truck has over 10,000 poly's, a high poly SCGT car is around 2500 lol

SCGT is one of my all-time favourite games! ( And the V8 Pursuit Special -no question about it- my favourite car! )

Truck: The vehicles look great. I've never played Sports Car GT, though I like driving games. I've gotten into Midnight Club 2 online (up til about July I'd only played on PS2, offline). I'd like to see a game like Driver/Driver 2 or the GTA series, but with Max vehicles, in the post-apocalyptic world. I've heard of Fallout, just haven't gotten around to getting it yet, but I'd like to see a true Max game, with missions and such, along with Capture The Flag (Steal The Gas?) and Detonate, that you could play online.

Thanks guys, I really should look into other games, SCGT is the first game I've been able to figure out "how" to modify so I'm just happy to be able to do it even tho it's an older game. I agree Redd they really should do a modern apocalyptic game with the works, would rule. I have the fallout demo need to get around to installing/trying it
