Facts about the European "Cut"-DVD

I read something about an European cut DVD,and i know about it!
This is one of the German DVDs.We've two versions:
1."Uncut".R-Rated-version.With an "18"-rating.This version is uncut!
2."Cut".Cut-version.With an "16"-rating.This version is cut!
So,this "European Cut Version" is the German "16"-rating version!
I own the "18" and i'm satisfied!

Hi friend,
in France, also we have the cut version, and only this version. Now, that you're talking about an uncut MM (BTW, are you speaking about MM2? In France MM 1 is uncut but the Road Warrior has several cuts.) I will try to buy the R-rated version in Germany. I live close to the german frontier. Fella ... actually, you save ma day!

Mad Max DVD-versions(Germany)
1.Mad Max 1: uncut R-Rated Version.It has an "18" mark on it and in shops you've to ask for it,because it doesnt lie next to the "normal" dvds.
2.Mad Max1:cut version.It has an "16" mark on it and you can find it in very many shops.

you want a complete uncut version down here in AUS, you gotta dig out the original 1982 RENTAL, and the 93 SELL THRU, any versions released after that, including DVD are cut.
So whenever i find a RENTAL MAX i either buy it or rent and say it got 'stolen', cause there ain't that many around.

Whats cut on the DVD's Rock? I always thought they were uncut?

Hopefully the "Cut" MM2 at least has the extra footage added to the "cut" U.S. T.V. version.... the "lost" version.
If not, oh crap are those folks being ripped off.

i heard the unrated version is a few seconds longer.

Ok I called it "uncut",because weve still this strongly cut "16"version,too.A few years ago there was a really full uncut version for rental,but only as video,no dvd.
I hope someday well get the full uncut version!

same thats cut from the ROAD WARRIOR version, cause thats what f**kin comes up on the creen, not MAD MAX 2 bastards trying to sell us a different version, not even our version, and its our f**kin movie.
Basically WEZ's arrow twisting closeup, GOLDEN YOUTH's boomerang pulling out close up, and half of PAPPAGALLO's speech after the VERMIN leave the Compound gates.
