I know you can get MM1 on special edition in America, is there any chance of being released in the uk?

Does anyone know if RW and BTD are going to be released as special editions as there is bound to be unseen footage from both films.

The DVDs I have dont have extras except BTD which has the trailer and info on the actors.
Pray hes out there!!

my copy of rw which is not special edition has a trailer or two and production notes (if i remember right, i dont have it here). its a region 1 dvd though. i dont know why you dont have any features on yours, but i seem to remember hearing that rw would get a special edition soon, but i doubt theyll put any deleted footage in it, it seems like they only do that with either new or very well known older films. the mad max SE i have has no extra footage.

as for getting yourself a copy of mm1 SE, i suggest searching the web for some japanese sites that sell all region dvds. for some reason max is really big there, and they often have all region dvds on jap sites.

on a side note, the greedy bastards who invented region coding are pure evil in my book.

Screwloose, our DVD has the original Australian Audio, what more could you want! But seriously, is there any other content on the American Disc, The Uk disc has multiple languages, including original Dialogue, also there are subtitles. Apart from that, nothing.

So American And Australian People! What special stuff do you have?

Yeah, you realize we lost more people to Great White than we did to Iraq?

Screwloose - the aussie DVD I have only includes some additional trailers, and the feature 'To the Max- Behind the Scenes of a cult classic'. Thats it . The feature is not too bad, but like most things, could have been a bit longer Image

I have heard of a 'triple-boxed-set' being available here, have not gone looking yet, this is obviously the first 3 movies.

Interdictor - i guess you are referring to the Great White that swims around and bites things in half ?? btw I checked with old mate about the question, he has entirely forgotten what he was thinking about. Nevermind.........

Yeah the best MAX 1 DVD i've come across, when it comes to SPECIAL FEATURES, was that REGION 1 that came out last year, but for quality The aussie REGION 4. being PAL, NTSC sucks, too dark and the colours, are like smudged.

Actually I was referring to the 80's has been band, Great White. They set a small club on fire over here recently with their (unapproved) pyrotechnics and scores of people lost their lives. The post was in poor taste, but so am I.
