It MADE my day... definitely !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Max wasn't the only to one to be "misunderstood" as a "Messiah" by a primitive tribe of children. Gene Roddenberry was obsessed with this theme. So it seems... Two episodes, one from the FIRST SEASON of STAR TREK, and one from ANDROMEDA, fetured this underlying plotline. Loyal fans of ST helped me in the search.

There is another interesting episode from "ENTERPRISE", the fifth series dedicated to ST. This episode is called TERRA NOVA and features a bunch of primitive children as well. I will provide the link!

That's the link to THE OMEGA MAN (1971), the first post-modern adventure movie to feature children tribes:

Robert Neville, the Capt.Walker of the movie, was played by Charlton Heston. In my humble opinion, this was actually the very first "post-modern adventure movie" ever... the FIRST TWO Planet of the Apes were too much mixed-up in terms of genre categorization.

The sub-sequent Post Modern adventure movies were BATTLE FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES (the most "Mad Maxian" entry in the saga) and ZARDOZ, both placed in 1973.

You're right Uncle. I'm a huge Trek fan and remember eps like that. But Andromeda I'll have to look up on your link. I may have missed a couple eps of that "quality" lol show, but I've been trying to catch it every week .... and I swear, it's not just for Kevin Sorbo and the guy that plays Tyr Image those plot lines are very good .... yeah yeah the plot lines .....

Kevin Sorbo! I would like to see him in Mad Max 4, as a totally new sidekick for our hero Max... what do you think about it? :)
