Road Kill from TWISTED METAL

I Persionaly think that Road Kill from the origional Twisted Metal (Playstation)is very similar to Max And his interceptor, i wonder if the people at SONY used this as insperation?

Maybe,though Roadkill didn,t buckle up in TW to get feull.I also have TWMB,no ending movies though,they took them out because of 11-9 or something.Tw2 is my favorite part.
