Need help! - some "SLANG WORDS" from the movies

Okay guys,
Just admired those two masterpieces, both THE ROAD WARRIOR and BEYOND THUNDERDOME, for the millionth time !!!! - never tired to re-watch them, for Christs sake!
'cause long time ago I purchased the DVD editions, now I can "taste" the magnificent original dubbings... tryin' to understand as many things as I can catch.
I noticed:
1- in RW, when Max and Gyro Captain stayed on the top of the cliff, watching Refinery & Dogs of War from the higher place of the valley ... well, Gyro said something like "I studied the thing for many days - drinking tea, playing MAH-JOG with the snakes..."
What? I don't really remember the right spelling of the word (MAH-JOG or something)...what is it? an Aussie game?
2- At the beginning of THUNDERDOME, Water-seller calls Max as "shcmuck"... what fukking ? WHAT DOES IT MEAN? In the Italian dubbing, Water-seller calls Max as "hey big hairy man..."

Oh it's beautiful !
If you read the section "M.F.P THE CHRONICLES" written by Randy and based upon my theories, you'ld know I came off with the theory saying Australia was an ASIAN protectorate since 1981/2 - in the MAD MAX space-time continuum, of course!
Have you noticed how many "Japan references" in MAD MAX 1? and Gyro in both MAD MAX 2 and 3 revealed that certain "asian flavour" which infused Australia's pre-apocalyptic society (Mah-jongg reference OR when he screamed to Max "Sayonara" in Mad Max 3)
And what's about TON TON TATOO, the japanese female Guard, the japanese child in the tribe and... at last but NOT LEAST... IRONBAR BASSEY's TOTEM ????????????

Whats funny, is I never caught on to what the Gyro pilot is saying there, UNTIL I got a job involving PCs and software. After shuffling various Mah Jongg software titles, the next time I saw MM2, I FINALLY realized what the HELL he was saying.

Sometimes these phrases need to be brought to your attention to make you realise that they mightn't be understood by others... and they can be bloody difficult to explain! I've always just accepted 'toey' as an expression - and now, trying to explain it to you is making me scratch my head... .....let's see...
anxious, eager, edgey (on edge), keen - that sorta thing.
"toey as a roman sandal"
It's all in the delivery and context that can make the difference - it is generally used in reference to a person, but it can also be an expression for a vehicle... "she's pretty toey" (Goodness gracious me, this vehicle has an impressive amount of power)
...or, "she's not very toey... wouldn't pull a greasy stick out of a dog's arse" ( my, but I can't help but feel this vehicle has an apparent lack of power)
