Thank you

Post by scattergun »

To the person that cleaned up the site from all the spam,THANK YOU! I was about to leave this group because it was way out of control with all the spam,I mean really? 20 pages of nothing but spam and porn links? This site is to valuable to lose with all the info it provides. Again,THANK YOU!

No worries. I'm the only person here who's been taking care of this forum for a few years now.

I tried to get Peter (owner's) attention to the SPAM problem by not cleaning it up for a few weeks, turns out it means nothing so I guess I might as well clean this place up while waiting for the hosting payment to run out later this year.

Yes, thanks for taking the broom out :D
Now we can breath again without choking in a shit load of spam
I wonder what will happen to this site at the end of this year.
Is there a certainty Peter abandoned the site and not anything happened to him, that he hasn't show up here in so long?

"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

Last time I talked to him he cited personal stuff that took priority.

We've discussed updating the site to modern standards so that updates would've been easier to whomever is in charge of this place as well as manually accepting new members to prevent all this spam but it all boiled down to the fact that this site as well as the forums are outdated and don't necessarily offer those options for the time being. All this is from my memory, I can't pull up the exact emal and/or message. Bottomline is - we might have to recreate this entire thing somewhere else, not sure what's going to happen after the domain hosting runs out. To answer your question - did Peter abandon this site?

Last time he logged in was September 18th 2019. Almost a year ago. This is pretty self evident.
