Been watching Switchum's chronicling here of his Toecutter sculpt with great interest, seeing this amazing piece of work come together. Didn't dare hope but, with great joy, there WOULD be kits created from it!
It was with much anticipation then that i awaited the production of the kit and, as soon as it went on sale, i snapped one up.
Been a while to take to get here and through Customs, but he's here, i'm one happy bunny, and can't wait to get started!

Re: Toecutter kit by Switchum
Sorry for the lack of updates - been so busy modelling, i haven't had much chance to go on the net.
Yup, nearly done with the fella:
This is me half way through doing his face:

Getting a colour i liked for his oilskins was tricky as, sometimes they appear green, in other shots, brown:

I had fun doing the fur:

And this is where i am right now - almost done and looking like he's just stepped out of Sleepy Hollow:

I know what you mean by his oilskin looking green and brown depending on scenes. I went for olive drab, leaning toward green. He is coming along very nicely. I really like how you treated the fur. Looking very good!!
Re: Toecutter kit by Switchum
Finished! many thanks to Switchum for his skills and his decision to release this superb sculpt as a kit. And am looking forward to the rest of the gang!
