Question about MM3 - shovel

Underworld: when Ironbar hits Max with the shovel... does the metal plate of the shovel "vibrate" a bit, thus revealing it is fake/movie prop? Sometimes I see that, sometimes not, so it could be my imagination.
What do you see?
We can also "pretend" that - having Pig Killer hit the Bodybuilder Guard with that very same shovel blade minutes before - the "attachment" between the blade and the wood stick of the shovel had just started to "slack".
So:
1- Or the metal vibrated because the strength of the hit was terrible...
2- Or the metal vibrated because the attachment between blade and wood stick was slacking...
What's your fave theory? LOL

I don't know ... maybe?
(I remember it as wobbling a little, but don't have access to my copy at the mo)

Yeah.
Just wondering about a possible in-universe explanation, LOL.

Found it:
Some shovels are made of 3 components, including a small section called "open socket".

As simple as that, the shovel used by Ironbar Bassey has a SLIGHTLY damaged open socket, and that's why the shovel blade wobbles a little bit ---- very unnoticeable.
Perfect.

My bet is that in both instances: when Ironbar gets hit and Max gets hit - those are both rubber props.
They wouldn't possibly risk an actor actually getting hit with the real thing and you can see it wobble too. If you ever used a shovel - they never wobble like that, if they were, they'd be useless for work.
Using rubber substitutes for real items is common practice in the movies, for example in almost all movies guns used in action scenes are rubber as well.

Yeah. But I was talking about a possible in-universe explanation for that brief sequence.
I guess Ironbar hits Max with impressive strength and speed, and the open socket of the shovel starts to "lose" stability a bit, just a bit.
