Marching tune in first movie?

First of all, I just wanted to say hello to everybody! I've been a Mad Max fan since early high school or thereabouts, when I saw the first movie on DVD.

Now that I've gotten the brief intro outta the way, I have a question: Does anybody know anything about the marching tune in the first movie that plays during the scene where Max gives his resignation notice to Captain Feef? Is it a traditional Australian marching tune or something created especially for the movie?
