As long as they're having fun, why not? Looks like a way to have a lot of car for little money (not counting the petrol costs, lol)

I don't care if they had fun making it or not, if they tried to make the BoB they failed.

Do you think they actually believed somebody would look at it and think it was a convincing copy of the real thing?

He also had a Camero? painted in MFP colours.

Kept banging at how he built the VERY FIRST MM REPLICA anywhere in the world!
Worlds biggest fan blah blah blah... when i asked him to show me his Interceptor he posted up that..er.. that car...
I tried to explain to that isnt a replica... he said it was..... i gave him a definition of "replica"....thats when he lost the plot. :D

He used to post on here for a while many years ago.

Well the Lincoln Mark Vii was introduced in 1983, as a 1984 model, so I guess there's a remote possibility he built that thing before anybody else got around to replicating the BOB, but it's not a very plausible story. I mean, he would have had to have been rich enough to pay full price for a Mark VII, brand new. Most folks who are going to do something like that to a car are going to start with a used one that they were able to pick up cheap, many years after it rolled off the assembly line.

Ha!

I knew there was something oddly familiar about this one!
