It's funny that they took the unofficial name "Black & Chrome" from the b&w DIY bootleg. Maybe it is in fact that exact same version :)

Either way, worth getting it for the bonus features alone.

No because this boxset, and seemingly these editions, is Amazon.de exclusive. It's hard to import because it's Region 2 so it won't work on US players.

I'd say this is coming to all stores but a similar boxset was already released and well, Amazon.de got a swanky Collector's Edition for Fury Road featuring the V8 Interceptor that was not available elsewhere save for Amazon.fr I believe?

I'm just finding it hard to believe that amazon would be the first to announce the black & white version using the fan made version name while George Miller and any official pages/sites haven't mentioned a single thing a long time. Hopefully its real.

Just because a fan came up with the name doesn't mean they won't use it. lol

I't's exclusive to Amazon.de and for all we know they might not be releasing the black and white version or this "High Octane" version of the boxset outside of Germany. It's not just the black and white version but the new boxset contains new documentaries for Mad Max 2, Beyond Thunderdome and Fury Road. Regardless, it's obviously a real product on their store so it's not a question of why Amazon.de is listing and getting it but more a question of...when do the rest of us get it.

It's Warner Bros, their blu rays are always region free.
