MM1 - where do the bikers go?

Having watched MM1 countless times over the past 30+ years, I feel odd asking this, but where do all the bikers go as the movie progresses?

When they roll into town, I counted 18 of them backing up into the line before Toecutter gives the signal to rev the engines
(approx 20:10 on the iTunes version). We see various members through the movie.

At the end of the movie, Max directly kills (or causes to be killed) the following:
1. 4 on the bridge (2 over the side into the water, the other 2 roll around on the pavement)
2. Shoots Bubba with the sawed off shotgun after the knee and arm injury
3. Chases Toecutter until he rams into the semi head on
4. Handcuffs Johnny the Boy to the car in the explosive trap

That makes 7 total visually seen being eliminated, but leaves 11 bikers not accounted for.

Where did they go? Did they just scatter? Did they go on ahead, leaving Toecutter and the few others to hang around?
Were they just edited out for the sake of time/storyline?

Well, the other bikes didn't follow Toecutter out to trash the couple and their car, so presumably they kinda lost their appetite after the kid gets dragged along the road and went off to volunteer at orphanages and stuff

The main 8 bikers we mainly see throughout the movie -
Toecutter.
Bubba zanetti.
Johnny.
Mudguts.
Cundalini.
Clunk.
Diabando.
And Starbuck.
Were a Nomadic chapter of the main gang that roars into jurusalem and starts all the shit.
In the novel it's explained that Bubba, Diabando and Starbuck were Toecutters lieutenants and Johnny was a prospect who Toecutter could see something in.

So i'm guessing the rest all broke off and terrorized various parts of the area, every now and then regrouping.

Coarse this is just an opinion, using the script, commentary and novel, nothing official.

Only one disappeared : Cundalini, for Johnny the boy, maybe he was lucky... and escaped on one feet !

Thanks...I wondered if there was a novelization and/or if it explained any of this. I figured the same basically, or that Max possibly just pursued the "lead members" thinking the rest would scatter without their leader present.

I've also wondered this and figure that:

Within the fiction of the story, I suppose you could argue they split up to do their own thing and then meet up again later at various times.

Within the reality of the making of the movie, from what I've read, the town scene was shot in one day where the biker club Kennedy/Miller
hired were only employed for that one day in Clunes. Wasn't it shot on a Saturday morning?
