Fury Road 1080p copy leaked

Apparently a streaming-quality copy of Fury Road has been leaked online from a Ukranian streaming service who accidentally made it available briefly ... that seems pretty fricken early to me.
I hope it won't hurt the sales of the official release in September, but I guess it was going to happen eventually

It was bound to happen, but hopefully FR raked in enough profit thus far to keep the franchise going. Die hard fans will pay either way (shoutout to the guy who paid to see it 30 times).

Don´t worry . . .
I checked Box Office Mojo but I noticed my multiple viewings from last weekend has not yet been priced in the foreign box office result.
As soon as the numbers are updated I hope a sequel is safe at least

I think Uncle Entity saw it enough times to guarantee a whole trilogy of movies.

This might be an unpopular opinion, so let me preface that I'm in no way condoning downloading movies if you haven't paid to see them in the cinema, BUT:
...and I think this applies to almost all active members of this forum - if you've paid to see this movie multiple times (it'll be 6 in my case), then I don't see it as anything particularly bad to download a 1080p leaked torrent of it. Of course there's this whole aftertaste of it being leaked and not waiting for the Blu Ray (which most of us will definitely buy too)... But ultimately if you've paid to see it many times - and especially after they stopped playing it at your local cinemas - then I guess it's not that bad to grab it, no?
Obviously this is a completely different situation from all the folks that never even intended to pay to see the movie and therein lies the major problem, but for a minority of folks that paid out the ass just to watch it - could it be somehow justifiable?

There is no justification for downloading pirated copies , you are stealing from the Aussie film industry and validating pirates in general , don't care how many times you seen it , some guys have seen it 30 times
No justification
You asked , that's my opinion

Yeah, this is kinda off the subject, but i'm friends with alot of underground/independant horror filmmakers and musicians and downloading destroys them.
If they don't get paid for their art then they have no money to make us more art and i wanna see more.
Now people may say the Cameron's, Lucas' and Millers' of the world may have enough money to be able to afford downloaders, but if our televisions keep getting bigger and the downloads keep getting better quality, soon the theaters will be empty and even they will suffer.
Just pay the bloody $6.00 rental fee or the $30.00 bluray or dvd.
Bugger it, what's 30 bucks?
if you dig the movie enough that's chickenfeed!
