MAD MAX ORIGINS. Co-written by George Miller this is the novelisation of the original 1979 Mad Max movie, one of the most successful independent films of all time (for 20 years it held the record for highest profit-to-cost ratio of any motion picture, conceding the record to The Blair Witch Project in 1999).The first edition was released in March, 1979 by Circus books to coincide with the first film. This is the second edition released by QB books in 1985. Both editions are now long out of print.

It is faithful to the film but also provides background on Miller and Kennedy's original conception of the Mad Max world and characters.

The book shows its age with some creasing and yellowing but is in good readable condition. I've provided some scans of the first chapter for a taste.

Condition wise it has been slightly defaced by other owners and the pages are dark yellow but all pages are still tightly
attached to the spine thank god! it has B&W movie scene pictures throughout too...

Funnily It was sold second hand at some point in its travels outta Cairns so I reckon it too has probably been roaming the white line highways looking for 'nomad bikers, bulk trouble' hehe... if only it could talk!!!
