Hi all
Have been looking at heaps of really excellent build ups of the the aoshima kit , some truly amazing works .one thing that has always bugged me about the kit is the wedge roof spoiler and no step at the the end of the rear flares . here are some pics of my version with the roof spoiler and flairs fixed up a bit . the weathering is real red dust mixed with water and applied with an airbrush .Completely covering the car then rubbing it off where not required .I have also moulded on the roof and boot spoiler of my autoart version and done a heap of real world weathering ( including exhaust soot inspired by Fury Road ) it was originally the show room version ! ( not the muddy version ) I enjoyed "roughing it up" much to my wifes horror ( she knows what it cost ! ) I have raised the rear suspension on both but the autoart is too heavy for the plastic leaf springs and tends to sag down a bit.
hope you like em

Re: Aoshima and autoart interceptor mods
And here is the moulded spoiler on my Auto art version . I think the obvious seem / gap under the roof spoiler is the only thing that lets this otherwise awesome model down a bit

Re: Aoshima and autoart interceptor mods
wonder if you plan on converting the autoart model to the fury road version ?

I Am doing a razor cola out of the 1;24 diecast drilling out the solid lights , filling off boot spoiler and undercutting wedge roof spoiler...Dremel will probably blow up by about then...will post progress picks as I go
Re: Aoshima and autoart interceptor mods
Nice work mate. Just started my Aoshima Interceptor, and roof spoiler is first thing to get some attention. I wish that they had make it separate part.
