I would like to do some replica's of motorcycles in Fury Road,if anyone knows what models they are based on,please let me know...thanks

I think they started with long-range off-road touring bikes (KTMs and the like) or old-school scramblers, swapped out long swing arms like you'd find on off-road hillclimb bikes, and swapped the tanks, headlights, etc for bits off a 'custom' style bike. Bikes with long swingarms handle like a total pain in the ass, though.

Most of the Rock Runner's bikes looked to just be dressed up dirt bikes, which would be more practical for the jumping stunts.

If you're not mechanically adept, please bear in mind that customising vehicles is much harder than it appears on the surface, and many people destroy salvageable vehicles and waste thousands because they underestimate the amount of work involved, so approach with caution!

good point....i think ill just pick one of my favorites and not try to be 100% correct .....just a good theme of it

Rock riders are on modern 4 stroke motocross bikes. The bikes with long swing arms are just just some modern sport bikes. And yeah one of the old ladies had a BMW suit case boxer engined bike. Can't wait for some good screen caps!

The vehicle article Peter posted on main page says Rock Riders have Yamaha and Gas Gas. Mention Royal Enfield amongst the Vuvalini bikes.

They had 3 of the bikes on display at the Opera House, I will try to get some pics up for you as those as well. I know I took shots of at least 2, hopefully all 3 - they bikes were only on display in the last part of the day, and only for a short time.

The motocross bikes are 2009 or back Yamaha YZF450s(the top 3 pics). Dont know about the rest.
