Bruce Spence in upcoming sequels?

New to the board, but a long time Mad Max fan who has been visiting this forum for a while now.

A thought occurred to me the other day. Have not seen Fury Road yet, but I, among many other Max fans, are totally aware of Miller's minimal concern with continuity from film to film, which Fury Road will only add to.

Miller also has no problem with the same actor playing various characters in his various Mad Max films as well, i.e. Hugh Keays-Byrne as Toecutter/Immortan Joe, Bruce Spence as Gyro Captain/Jedediah the Pilot. Considering that Miller is bringing back Hugh for another villain role, is it possible for Miller to bring back Bruce Spence as a character for any of the planned Mad Max sequels?

How mind-blowing would that be, considering the already frustrating acceptance of Tom Hardy as a new Max and trying to shoehorn his version in the accepted Mad Max canon, and the initial idea that Hugh as Immortan was playing a possible incarnation of Toecutter. Bruce Spence as a new/different character with a new flying contraption/plane would, I think, only complicate things for Max purists/timeline adherents. I on the other hand would love to see Bruce Spence in another Mad Max film, and I would have absolutely no problem with him playing a brand new character. Don't remember reading anything about Miller toying with this idea.

Not sure if this idea has been posted about before, but what do you guys think?

Great catch with the skull and aviator cap/goggles. That's a great little detailed nod to the Gyro Captain that I totally didn't connect to the character from my numerous frame-by-frame viewings of the trailers! haha!

Still, I would love to see (a living) Bruce Spence character up in the sky in a hopefully produced sequel. For one, the insanely awesome joy I think Max fans would feel seeing another great odd character performance from Spence in the Wasteland. And two, just to confound the already confusing inclusion of Spence as different characters in different movies based in the same universe (I think the fans will get it that he's playing different characters, where casual viewers won't catch the gag).
