Does Vernon Wells actually ride the bike at all in MM2??

Or is it all the stuntman apart from the arrow scenes??
In the opening scene, before he gets shot, and the camera pans along side him, that's Vernon and Jerry. (Or Jimmy? What IS his real name? LOL)
