Hi to all,
Excuse me if this has already been discussed in the past , i'm a newbie !!
I'm aware that the Interceptor is based on a 1973 XB but I have been looking around and it does seem that the body may have been the same right up to 1978 all be it with different trim etc. Is this the case ? or would the subtle difference that I can't see make it a no go as an Interceptor replica ?

Will a 1978 Coupe do ?
Re: Will a 1978 Coupe do ?
The big difference will be the interior. Small differences with the exterior ie. rear side marker is horizontal instead of vertical.

Nice one, sounds quite feasible then ... happy face

The dash is completely different for a start.... not to mention the interior.
While its "doable" the dash swap isn't easy as the firewall and heater box are different.
Youll have to cut the firewall in order to make the XB dash to fit.

Depends how accurate you want it. if you just want a black Interceptor, then an XC coupe would be a fine base.
