Any events in the Midwest?

Not sure if the events forum is just for announcements or if questions can be asked as well. I've been looking into the various gatherings (Roadwar NW, Wasteland Weekend, any others?) and well, everything is to the West. Are there any similar events ever in the Midwest? That always irks me. Everything seems to happen on the coasts. The Midwest is pretty well barren of anything interesting to do. Anything at all? I'm very much doubting it. A shame as I'd like to get together with other fans of the Mad Max series.
