Possible pictures of actual Fury Road vehicles
Re: Possible pictures of actual Fury Road vehicles
Not quite the motorcycle I was hoping to glimpse. Looks cool though.
More pictures. I think they're back out at Henties Bay salt flats to close out the filming in Namibia, and I think that means it's time to wreck some vehicles.

I believe these pictures tell us there are 2 speaker trucks and 2 black tanker trucks build?
Or am I the only one seeing double.

"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

Triple. Picture #4 shows three identical tankers. I've heard that triplicates have been built of many of the vehicles.

I made that comment a while back when looking at all those overhead shots of the warehouse in Sydney on nearmaps (page 9 on this thread)biolumen wrote:Triple. Picture #4 shows three identical tankers. I've heard that triplicates have been built of many of the vehicles.

If one looks carefully you can see the two M.A.N trucks used as the boom box trucks, two big rig tow trucks (which we saw one in Bio's picture he posted today) as well as all the rusty body shells they cut up... and a few other doubles (like the spiky truck with the backhow can now be identified in those old pictures, two of which appeared in those old photos.)
We are 100% snafu....

Re: Possible pictures of actual Fury Road vehicles
With there being doubles and triples of some of these vehicles I sincerely hope some of them get returned to Australia when filming is complete. It would be a shame for them to just be left behind for salvage. Of course some may be secured in Namibia for filming a sequel...

Maybe it's wishful thinking but this could be a homage to the RW Mack. It's cab style is fairly unmodified, keeping it quite recognizable. It appears to have already done some stunt work.

Damn, indeed. I missed that one on the far right of the picture with the tractor covered.biolumen wrote:Triple. Picture #4 shows three identical tankers. I've heard that triplicates have been built of many of the vehicles.

I wonder what's with those poles sticking out of a lot of vehicles. In earlier pics it kind of looks like people are impaled on them. If so... that's one hellova sinister movie we're in for.
Also, the closeup stationary War Rig looks awesome. A lot of detail went into it, it'll look amazing on screen.

Hello Guys. First time posting here but I've been lurking here daily for a long time. I remember as a boy I saw RW first and I'm sure like you guys the vivid post apocalyptic world wold change my life forever. I can't help but see the new war rig and all the cars scattered across the flats and it reminds me of the impressions I was left with as a boy. Very exciting and I'm very grateful to be able to experience this world again and anew.
Many thanks to Biolumen and everyone who keeps on the hunt for new goodies.
