WEZ Vs. IRONBAR BASSEY

I read this topic with great amusement. I will never forget how I felt leaving the cinema after seeing mm2 for the first time. In relation to the villians I was in awe of the power the humungus had and scared of the irrational, impulsive lunatic Wez. A character that reacted without thought and fuelled completely by emotional energy. Whilst society (and self preservation) restricts normal people from reacting this way I believe part of us would sometimes like to be able to 'react' in a similiar fashion.

Ironbar however left me seeing him as a nuisance, irritating style character placed in the movie for comic releif such as joe pesci in the lethatl weapon series, or ewoks in Star Wars 3. His physical presence and mannerisms did little to scare me or make me feel like grrrrrr one day I would like to get out of my car and 'ironbar' someone. The potential for this character to be a mean fearful character was there but 'directed' out of the movie. Almost like the writers said, mmm we need something to lighten the morbid feel of this tale.

In summary, the best mauranding barbarian has to be wez and should they have been around at the same time and the same place Ironbar would have been Wez's pet!

Fifi is probably dead, 'cause in the infamous Pox-Eclipse it's understood 80% of human race died. I doubt Fifi survived. I doubt any other bronze survived except Max and few others. Think that, the most of people always hated Police. When the society collapsed, people was free to make anything they want - good or evil. That's the reason Max stayed away from the falling cities - we could say the same for the Refinery people.

If Ironbar is Joe Pesci, than Pappagallo is Darth Vader and Feral Kid is Han Solo, Aunty Entity is Roger Marthaugh and Mad Max himself is Liza Minelli. Image

Surely, Ironbar Bassey is a mosquito: damn irritating! He was not supposed to be scary as Master-Blaster or maybe Aunty Entity (she's able to make anything she wants). Irritating and... dangerous, because he's a true Marauder. Dangerous, people. He can do anything he wants. He's energic, fast and simil-immortal. He beat Max one time, think that! I doubt Wez could make him a sleeve. And please, what does it mean "to Ironbar" someone???

Ironbar is the quintessential cool villain.

And I forget it, man, I forget it!

IRONBAR GETS TATTOOS !!!!!!! Nasty, cruel, painful tattoos on his fukkin' arms!

This is a PUNK trilogy. Fukkin' punk, nothing more, nothing less. THESE are three punk movies on punk itself. And if you're complaining for children in THUNDERDOME, well, you're wrong, because PUNKS love children and hate adults. SEE the SEX PISTOLS movie, THE FILTH AND THE FURY, and you will know what I mean just now...

Hey Bronze 21, stick here for a while, there's definate entertainment value and probably a lot more to come.

Whatever the villains are like in the new movie, there gonna have to be something special to top all the previous.
