Bad cop. You're getting your Dad to help you on the PC???? Y'know you're destroying that myth that all youngsters are techno wizards leaving us "older generation" i.e. anyone older than you, as fumbling in the dark. On a recent visit to them my kids programmed my Mother's VCR for her AND showed her how to send a text message with a smiley icon in it.
Anyways the offers still there if you want to send me your fan art to post. Or maybe you can figure it out using this outfit:
http://s2.photobucket.com/ it's pretty easy to figure out. Even I got it working for me despite being in my dotage and relying on a notepad to remember.... er.... things.

I suppose that's posted to somehow comfort and reassure me that no one is actually being overly anally retentive eh? lo!! I'll get on with the drawing soon OK? One eyed Mack eh? Now that big cattle scoop on the front looks sorta like a beard if you squint your eyes. to me it'd look like a Pirate "Ha har Jim lad! Splice the mainbrace and shiver me bum!" and all that.
Having just finished Thunderdome the other week, I still have the original copy I bought and read back in the 80's. It's a good read and sorta fills the story a lot better than the film did. But just I couldn't get past the little errors the author made such as the Maximum Force Patrol name. She obviously didn't do her research as well as she could have, but a only fan would notice such errors.... hence my need to get a drawing spot on.
See what a fuss people made of Gordons MM2 replica and the overly large "spacer" block between the Supercharger scoop and impeller housing. You miss the fact that he'd sweated blood over the rest of it getting it just right, but that doesn't matter, it's the errors that are noticed and commented upon. No slight aimed at anyone who said the spacer block was too big, 'cos it was, it's just human nature to pick out the obvious errors.
roadwarriormfp can I put my name on that list for a copy of the MM & MM2 novels please? If you see 'em get me a copy please. or anyone else that might see them for sale, I'll send you my front teeth as payment. I want them... almost... that badly. Thanks for the salute hehehehe you're making me blush (going all soppy here.. street cred out the window!)

Any time Bad cop. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with, but if you run into difficulties give me a shout OK?
Hey and the best of luck with the new dog... just be sure to check your slippers in the morning
BEFORE putting them on. Puppies have a tendancy to pee or poop in dark places perhaps thinking they're being good doggies by not doing it in the middle of the living room carpet.
No, it's not happened to me. Y'see I have this friend who.... well er told me about it once.
And if you're going camping, better check your boots before you put them on in the morning too. I went touring inn Scotland with my bro years ago, slipped on my boots one morning, 60 miles down the road felt something wriggling inside my boot. stopped, took off my boot and out dropped a 2 inch kin' great stag beetle!
Now picture the scene of a biker, wearing only one boot at the roadside hopping about going "ewwwwwwww ewwwwwwww" all girly like.... I did too (hangs head in shame)
Great holiday in Scotland though. Next year we did Wales and it was shyte, ignorant bloody oiks!

It's a self portrait. The lady at the police station asked me to draw it.
On completion, she asked me to show on the drawing where the "
nasty alien put his probe?"
