Well, I wasn't going th contribute to the continued hijacking of the thread but as far as the Capri is concerned, the 351 CJ fit with no problems. Even the stock air filter fit under the hood. The only things I modified are:


Hydro clutch from a Mazda Rx7


Removed the brake boost diaphram to clear the left valve cover.


Took a set of Mustang headers and cut them all up and re-welded them to fit the new body.


Redesigned and relocated the steering shaft to clear the exhaust.


Cut and reshaped the oil pan and pickup to clear the crossmember.


Flipped the rear engine mount 180 deg. to match the new tranny.


Fitted a 3 core '67 Camaro radiator.


Had a custom driveshaft fabricated.


Believe it or not, I only had about $1500 in the car. I sold it to my friend who put the interior back in and painted it white. His son has it now in Columbus, OH. I think I have some video of it somewhere on VHS...
