I saw Thunderdome. It was OK, but a disappointment as I expected something different. So I'm a black sheep...


What's kinda amazing is that, in the '80's, Tina was a pop culture icon. No street credibility. Now try viewing this movie through the eyes of a 20 yr old.


"Tina who? She sings? Really? Grace Jones? Who's she?"


She just becomes an obscure actress. A whole different take on Tina Turner and other things that were commonplace for us aging post baby boomers.


What REALLY would have been funny would be if Tina played herself, as Tom Petty did in 'The Postman'. Just some veiled reference to being a rock star caught out on the Day After.

aye man i first saw it when i was 8 years old and though i liked it, (i use 'like' not love) even at that age i knew something was up with it.
