There wasn't anything obviously Australian in it for international audiences apart from the glimpse of the Aboriginal , but plenty of Aussie accents and Aussie vehicles / actors made it fine for me as an Aussie
I thought Max acted exactly as someone would who hasn't spoken for a long long time , this was portrayed very well the way he mumbled and slowly came out of his shell to say " my name is Max "
The car chases were excellent , the Buzzard scene with the spiky cars was frantic ! loved it , spoke to one of the crew who said that car flip with Elvis going into the sand trap was not CGI but real !
There were so many cool characters and so little time to explore all of then before they got killed oh well aaagh

I walked out of the cinema thinking yup just let the original trilogy sit where it lies in another timezone , it looks dated but not in a bad way
This is Mad Max with the knob turned up to 11 as someone said
My only complaint was some of the dialog was hard to hear , I couldn't make out all of Bullet Farmers rant after he got blinded and a few other lines , the CGI was a let down in a couple of the crash scenes where stuff flies at the screen ( probably made for 3D ? ) , the sandstorm was fcking spectacular though dunno why people are hating on it lol
