"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.
just listening to Tom hardy's voice over.....although not strictly Aussie sounding , does sound like Mels accent in Mad Max 1 .you can here undertones of Mels American heritage in his voice , especially in the "when do we go for a ride "line and also when he's questioning the mechanic after crushing him under a car . it sounds like a cross between Australian, American and English . By mad max 2 ,Mels accent had taken on a much more Aussie drawl (I.e..."Two days ago I saw a vehicle that would haul that tanker ...") but in the original it is quite ambiguous in some parts , although the "Crazy bout'ya " line is pretty aussie sounding .funny little spin off...I wonder if the fact that Jessie seemed to be learning sign language was implying sprog was deaf.......a stretch I know , but possible

When Tom said "it was hard to know...." It sounds like a foreign accent or something. His raspy whispering sound make it hard to hear his accent.
"You know, Hope is a mistake. If you can't fix what's broken, you'll go insane."
I forgot you had interviewed Joanne Seriz....so do tell , what was it about ? did she tell you ?.....plus I love the picture you posted with the chastity belt with teeth and Nux's shredded lips.... I think your onto something there !
seriz wrote:blackmocco, what was the length of the movie when you saw it ? 100 or 120 minutes ?
Dang man. Hard to remember. It felt around the two hour mark but truth be told, I didn't keep track. I'm sure they've trimmed this thing down to the bone since then.
"...and it was here in this blighted place, he learned to live again."
So I grabbed the digital issue of the new SFX magazine because the cover mentions talking with the cast and director of Fury Road and inside is new interviews with Miller, Theron and Hardy. Miller talks about the comics too and whats interesting, he touches on the 2 other Mad Max movies where he says...
"Well, with the delays and getting into all of the backstories Nick Lathouris and I have written two other scripts with Mad Max and Furiosa." Miller reveals.
"We have them virtually ready to go, so if Fury Road does well enough and we can bring the band back together in terms of crew we'll do those movies."
Of course we've known about the two sequels but this is the first I've heard of them both featuring Max and Furiosa.
Oh new stills from the mag:
