by all means, explain how i'm not a liberal.

I just got the Furiosa comic today. Must say this story was much easier to read than Immortan. With Immortan several things weren't explained to well. This one has a plain chronological storyline that is easy to follow. It is just about how Immortan treats his breeders and how Furiosa got involved. The graphic violence was kept to a minimum with mostly only off screen and verbal hints about what was going on or what had happened.
It is a good explanation of the time of the 5 wives until they escaped.

Uh, because that's the subject of the thread?

If you have a problem with rebuttals why start an open thread on the topic, kicking it off with a link to an extreme left feminist blog?

You said you were as liberal as anyone could get - surely the tumblr feminist extremist types of people are more liberal? ;)

You said it shouldn't be a big deal, nobodies making you read and reply to this thread :P I have zero problem with you posting what you think, but that doesn't mean I can't reply to you in turn, lol.

Little unsettled with how mean-spirited this little "discussion" is getting. Even the OP says they don't agree with the tone of the original article. It's just a movie and it's just a comic that everyone here obviously really, really likes. No need for it all to get so fired-up.

I enjoyed it as well , I mean how much back story do you want in such a thin booklet , but I'm seriously over all this feminist debate BULLSHIT , its a fucken fantasy / action movie and a comic book , not a documentary , I agree there was some hard to swallow bits in the first comic , but not going to lose any sleep over it or type pages of crapola about it on the internet :|

well, a core belief of Socialism us that everyone has use, and people should be treated equally ... and if Socialism is the ideal of liberal thinkers then describing any group as "shit for brains" is not a liberal assertion.

yes, extremists of any persuasion are not helpful to the goals of their group, but that doesn't mean their opinions have no value at all.
