My biggest problem with the movie
Re: My biggest problem with the movie
I think they've had that listed there for a while now. lol I can't find anything about it being rated recently so I think it's wishful thinking right now.

True that, I pulled this info from reddit, so I think we should take it with a HUGE grain of salt.

Re: My biggest problem with the movie
It's not MY baby, but my issues are the fact that they've taken an otherwise pretty damn great story and character, changed it all around to divorce himself from the previous films, confuse the hell out of the die-hard fans (and irritate this one), and throw in a bunch of stupid looking "Fast and Furious" cgi bullshit on top of it... and stamp it with Mad Max...
Same car destroyed again. No dog. Different memories. Screwed up timeline. Mutants (ummmm...please, when was the last time humans mutated, and after how many generations)??!! Machine guns? This world doesn't look or feel, to me, like the MM world I personally prefer.
Why not just, instead, branch off and do a movie about one of the other characters from the original? Let's see where one of the other cops ended up.
As I've said before, I hope to be wrong, but I just suspect this is going to be a turd.

Which world do you prefer? The Road Warrior version it would seem, because each film in the original series the world was very different from film to film. This world doesn't look or feel, to me, like the MM world I personally prefer.
I don't think its reasonable to expect George Miller to do the exact same thing each time. As a film maker he wants to do new things and its not like the Road Warrior is going away, you can always watch it any time you like.

I'm grateful he didn't pull a George Lucas by re-editing and re-releasing butchered versions of the originals leading up to Fury Road. Let them stand on their own. Most of us already know what it's like for a Mad Max movie to disappoint and we got over it.P-Tron wrote:Which world do you prefer? Well he did release a Blu-ray version of MM2 which does not look like the original film at all -- Hopefully this will be fixed with a future reissue.

What makes the blu ray version different ?Stamper wrote:Well he did release a Blu-ray version of MM2 which does not look like the original film at all -- Hopefully this will be fixed with a future reissue.
