They do a good job of hiding the interceptor on set.

now that you mention it...what if all the screen shots you've seen of THAT is an unrelated movie to the one with tom hardy?
im not saying it is, and the likelihood of that is SLIM, but you raise a pretty big point. with all of these set shots and none of them have the interceptor...

Hardly likely.... the more obvious reason we don't see it is because it probably only played a very short part in the film (Like a flashback which everyone including myself, believes why the car was built) which was filmed early on and no longer needed. (it doesn't take place in the big chase).
What we do see is the silver "interceptor" in a lot of the shots however....

Talking with my friend again, she's been on set and has been creating a 'backstory' for her part as a 'wretched' beggar Apparently they all had to invent some tale about their life in this post nuclear world. The wretched characters barter their bodily fluids for scraps from the elite who live up at the top of the citadel. She says oil isn't an issue in this story, as the Immortan Joe character has taken over some old wells and got them going again. I know this sounds bizarre, but she's seen the whole script and says the vehicles are kept in the air, maybe by hot air balloons? I wasn't sure what she meant, they're somehow 'floated' up and down and around the place. It sounds pretty, uh, mad.

Don't think i've read this Tom Hardy quote posted from the start of the month:
It’s [Mad Max] a big old piece, it’s a behemoth of a piece. I’m off there next week to do some reshoots, well not reshoots actually, but doing more. We’re building, building more Mad Maxes, even more spectacular and cool stuff.

From a reputable film blogger...
Robert Meyer Burnett
@BurnettRM
I spoke with someone last weekend...who is...familiar...with the film...and he says George Miller knocked FURY ROAD outta' the park.

my contacts have shown me pictures of the BoB being rolled on a swing arm rig. So I think it doesn't last long before he gets the Gigahorse.

Just had word from a friend that they're filming upon an old reservoir (I think) in Regents Park (you know the one, on Rookwood Rd near the freight line?).
He'll have some sneaky snaps for me to add here later.
Most amusing thing I have heard so far "One of these guys have a flattened trumpet that is used as an axe'...
