On set of "MAD MAX:FURY ROAD" filming in 2012 (release date: 5/15/15) -- here is THE WARHORSE, a heavily modified semi with 2 massive V8s, both turbo-charged & supercharged!
I received a massive bruise on my leg while doing an action scene on top of the vehicle (Yes, I do my own stunts -- we were flying down a mountain & suddenly the vehicle seemed to lose control. First I thought the stunt driver didn't like me much lol...but I realized he actually lost control because of brakes & steering wheel failure..I fell onto the supercharger & grabbed onto it to save my life!! While the heat burned through my hands..
Luckily, the vehicle veered off its course away from the mountain and went into a soft sanded ditch, and slowed the vehicle down to an eventual halt..they always have a backup vehicle in any case, so it didn't stop us..we got the job completed same day..!

I picked this up from the set of Mad Max 4 which was filming at Fox Studios last year. It is a prop jet engine made out of wood and PVC piping and it has a metal stand at the base.
The prop may or may not be seen in the Mad Mad 4 movie of course. I can't guarantee that. But I can promise you it was on set and in the background and I only got hold of it because one of the crew snatched it for me.
I love it but can not longer house it in my office. I hope it finds a cool man cave somewhere and you can boast that it is one of a kind Mad Mad prop! And you can definitely say it is from the Motherland Commercial to say the least.
I'm seriously not sure anymore where to put this (we should've had a dedicated topic for Fuy Road 'news'):
Nathan Jones (Rictus Erectus) confirms he's the son of Immortan Joe. Furthermore he reveals that Immortan Joe manipulated his people into thinking he was brought back from the dead.
I read in The Hollywood Reporter that the Comic Con trailer was in the top 20 trailers most viewed in 2014 with over 26 million views since July. Not bad for a franchise that has been quiet for 30 years.
Also Entertainment Weekly did a 2015 preview special issue. Fury Road was listed on the cover but they used an old photo but had a quick blurb from Miller about when Max and Furiosa first meet and the brawl they have.
