I am digging it. cannot wait to see what this game has in store and all the ways I can the mad max car of my dreams or at least one that is close enough. since the game is written by and had production help from George Miller, it will be interesting to see what of the game does relate to the over all story cause while this isn't a direct movie tie in and does things a little different, there are still some elements related to the movie in it. cars look cool too over all.

The Special Edition at EB Games in Australia and New Zealand includes a copy of Fury Road, the movie.

I didn't check the price myself but comments below the article people are saying the bundle is not worth it

Here is something you should find very interesting:
Here's your chance to win a vehicle from the Mad Max game (modified Mustang Fastback 4x4):

I'm not entirely sure how this thing works yet, something about collecting points of sorts. Either way, have a go and good luck!

Check the term and conditions page. The contest is only open to a handful of European countries.Taipan wrote:Here is something you should find very interesting:

Its looking pretty good so far IMO.
Better then I was expecting.
I only game on PC these days, and I never play 3rd person games on PC becasue I prefer FPS with mouse and keys.
But after thinking about it, I dont play driving games with mouse and keys, I use my USB game pad for driving games.
So in this example it's the proper compromise.
Looking forward to it.
I'm gonna build me a Razor Cola.

The Game Theorists video about ... surviving the Mad Max Carmageddon (?).
Anyway, it's got a ton of new footage and shows some mechanics of the game.

Thanks for posting, yeah there's a lot of new footage there. Even though there's a lot of general automotive knowledge thrown in it's worth watching for all the new (new to me anyway) footage.
I have to admit when they talked about how much customization you could do on your car I figured it was just the usual BS exaggeration. But this video shows a huge variety of vehicle options. Like this, I had no idea you could have a car like this: Though I don't know if that's damaged, or a mission car, or what.
I didn''t know about the spikes, maybe I just forgot, and they actually kill enemies that attempt to board: I don't know if this one below is our player's car or an enemy car but it has lots of spikes: Good image of part of the map, guess that presenter awhile back was saying "Pink Eye": I don't know if this is a muddy area like the movie, or the oil moat area around Gastown:

Oh and this stood out to me, have we seen Max this way in previous coverage, with a long beard? I believe this is a resapwn screen after dying, maybe ties into the story, maybe we start off all shaggy like the movie?

I am really expecting a better special edition than just a DVD with it.....i mean how about a gigahorse model,an immortal Joe mask, and a can of silver paint

....apiece here...apiece there....
