Thin hair = at the very beginning of the movie, he had the Thunderdome's first half mane. The Warboys just cut his hair that way.

It's not fair to compare them in a way. Max was a literal Road Warrior who fought with his car, smarts and skill.

Once you bring guns in the whole thing changes. Hardy looks more like a soldier to me than a pursuit cop.

Yeah I know. I say what I've just said with an element of sadness lol. Moving the conversation on slightly, does the proliferation of small arms in this movie not significantly change things? We are seeing assault rifles and sub machine guns etc I just imagine Max's Interceptor would have been swiss cheese on the roads of this world.
