But the absence of the link to the December interview of Miller with the confirmation of a new movie that would be in the works makes it a bit dodgy indeed.
At the moment "Mad Max: The wasteland" is the only MM movie in Miller's IMDb profile as announced.

That source may have been dodgy, but their original source is pretty legit. The Feb 6 issue of the trade publication "Production Weekly" lists "Mad Max: The Wasteland" as having a production start date this fall. While it's subscription only, the movie title is listed on the front page.

This would indicate to me that things are starting to move behind the scenes.

Cant wait to see what type of apocalyptic vehicles and culture George Miller will indulge us with.

Will unused ideas from Fury Road make it into this film? Time will tell...

Also heres hoping theres no monsoons in the outback this time.

I'd like to add further that in a recent Empire magazine interview, Miller basically said The Wasteland would follow 3000 Years of Longing. He also says the movie will be quite different from FR, so probably not a chase film.
