Looks pretty straight forward.
Well, it doesn't address showering specifically, so I will still want to ask them when I go up there this Saturday.
I was thinking a cool 'event' idea would be some organized scene reenactments. Maybe some HUMVEEDRIVER Humungous speeches or something would be nice. Maybe a little boomerang finger scene, something like that.
Yes, that would be cool. We're thinking it would be great for Dave to lead a convoy around the lake - maybe he could circle back, stop in front of camp and we can recreate the whole speech scene.
Obviously, we can leave and come back to the event anytime we want, correct?
Yes - no silly Burning Man rules at the Road Warrior Weekend event.

Hi Karol,

Just an FYI, last week I emailed Lizzy about my tickets and I have not gotten a reply. Do you have any info about the tickets? I bought 2 tickets back in June so I am just wondering when they will be sent out.

Thanks - Bart

As I mentioned earlier in this thread, Lizzie was out of town at an event this past weekend, so she couldn't respond in her usual timely manner. You should hear from her this week.

Tickets will still be sent out this month, as Scarlett had promised on the MySpace page.

Thanks Karol,

And thanks for putting up with me! :D I probably should have read this whole thread straight through, but I have to admit, my attention has been on the Falcon threads....can you blame me?

Zarana-X,
Please email Lizzie about volunteering. She knows more about what we need than I do right now.

As Gasoline mentioned in the Mad Max Fan Film thread (http://madmaxmovies.com/forum/viewtopic ... 2&start=10), it would be cool to have a professional photographer available to take portraits (free, paid, or otherwise). It would also be nice if those of us bringing vehicles would consider making them available for photos—with reasonable precautions, of course. I would love to get a shot or two of myself in MFP gear with a Pursuit Special. Plus they'd be great props for the group photos.

I'll also pass the suggestion to Lizzie.

My understanding from the myspace page is that there are already a couple of professional photographers planning to come to this event and take portraits for a fee. I think they're in the vedors section of the myspace page. Their stuff looks good too. I guess it wouldn't be a bad idea to have Lizzie check in with them to see if they're still coming and let them know that there is definite interest in their services.
And I'm sure many of the people with cool vehicles will let people stand next to or even get behind the wheel of their cars for photos (within reason). But if a hundred sweaty people start lining up to sit in the seat of an interceptor, I wouldn't blame the owner if they started charging a very small fee.

Karol,

Not to be annoying, but just FYI, I never received a reply from Lizzie. It is possible my email got junked (it happens sometimes) so I sent her another email from my work address.

Thanks - Bart

Sorry to hear that Bart. Lizzy should've gotten your email. I've been talking to her over the phone recently - I know she's very busy moving from Utah to California right now, so please bear with her for now. I'll ask her about your email.
I can tell you this, though: Lizzy doesn't know anything about tickets. Tickets are Scarlett's realm exclusively, and several tickets were supposed to be sent out over a week ago.

Has anyone here on the forum received their wristband/ticket yet??? When you do, please let me know! Thanks.
