Its just a shame that the weekend ended when all the cars got impounded by the police.
Under Victorian hoon laws, the cars can be crushed if deemed to be a public nuisance.
We are awaiting the decision of the courts.

Nice pix guys i'll upload mine shortly. i didn't take many pics, but got a bit of video footage (me walking around the car show).
i had my models at the mad max display, but it was so hot that they melted. four are warped beyond recovery and the rest had bits knocked off them. i had them in a perspex display case, with a mirror back which proved to be a bad idea. At least i had a good weekend. it looks like my road warrior interceptor will have to be a 'rollover' model now.
I had that sinking feeling in my gut when i saw the models melted by the sun. Feel bad knowing the amount of time they take to build, but on the other hand they were a real attraction at the show. So many people commented on how good they were.
I have to laugh. I took pick of the models and I though it was cool that you made all the cars look like that they had been smashed.... Little did I know they were only like that from being in the sun all day, you'd be devistated. Soory to see your work ruined.

"laugh it up, Fuzzball"
no, i'm not devistated. a few years ago i'd probably gone ape sh!t over it but now, well i don't let stuff get to me. besides, it was my own fault for not taking more care.
the 'Gone in 60 seconds' Mustang WAS made to look crashed up, but not the rest.
A big thank you to all who attended, was a great day on the satday. We ended not watching madmax1 on the fri night due
to the boys rocking up late due to breakdowns and being pulled up by the bronze, will be great to hear the storys of the dramas. but we ended up watching
the loaded warrior at around 11pm.
satday we were up at 6.45am, i had to get on the oval as entrants had started to arrive, as my job was to make sure the entrants who arrived early got
to park in the right spot, well the rotary club that was suposed to help got sent else where and i ended up there till 8.45, brad hadnt arrived as yet but
we met him in the main street for an hour display, which was not to bad.
we headed around 10.15am to the expo and uncovered the buggy and set up the display, we were inundated all day. we started to packup at 3pm and dale rocked up
to his annoyance he missed the whole day as he thought the show would go through till 5pm, but these days most shows only go till 2 3pm.
we had been invited to the local police station so we headed off there, i did plan to go there but plans change, was a great time with the officers saying
we hope we are not putting you out. we parked out the back and then out the front, a few a the public stopped for pics too.
