Explain yourself please. Are you trying to say Fury Road is pandering again to a younger generation or to women?
You'll see. The Ewoks of Fury Road ...
I guess some will see it as pandering while others will see it as a refreshing change that's long overdue.
What, exactly, was overdue? I did not experience any "refreshing change." Nor when thinking back on the prior 3 films did I think, "geez, these films really need Ewoks." As I stated, the two prior films had very, very strong females. Fury Road had the equivalent of Ewoks in my view.
Women’s liberation from a patriarchal society is not the hook on which this story is based – it IS the entire story. It’s as if Miller took the plot of Road Warrior and replaced the “gaazoleeeeene” with abused and controlled women. All the men in the movie (apart from Max, of course) are either easily-led followers or murderous dictators, while the women – young and old – are wise, caring, nurturing and tough as nails.

Again explain yourself instead of dodging the question. And I have seen the film but I'm now strongly beginning to question if you have.
I think the best explanation is adopting the quote from the above critic. It's precisely how I feel. Revealing anything more is tantamount to giving up spoilers. Since you saw that film you must know what I'm referencing and if not then you simply don't agree. Either way that's fine. I enjoy the dialogue.
