pity he didn't tell us what a 'wordburger' actually is.

And what do you think if at the begining of the movie we see Max with the Black on Black and if later in the movie we see the car destroyed, and modified by the Immortan Joe gang ?!DGSimo wrote:Could be his take on it given the BoB is in it and some of the homages to the older films.

Yeah exactly and what I learned of the film's ending last year doesn't make it jive as an "in-between" for the first two films.seriz wrote:And what do you think if at the begining of the movie we see Max with the Black on Black and if later in the movie we see the car destroyed, and modified by the Immortan Joe gang ?!DGSimo wrote:Could be his take on it given the BoB is in it and some of the homages to the older films.

I think it's just another story, and Miller knows that the Black on black is something very iconic that people want to see again. My idea, he doesn't give a shit about "timelines". It's a new story, told by others, like the second and the third, with the black car again because it's iconic. Where the movie take place, after MMBT or between 2 and 3, I think we don't care so much.
But afterall, if the movie had been shot in 2002, it would be set after MMBT...

So we have words from someone who just saw a rough cut of Fury Road. He is also a big Mad Max fan. He sounds pretty clear that it is set in between 1 and 2.(I mean,He just saw the movie!) Add small things we've seen like knee brace, shoulder pad, Interceptor, and Dog. Also he said the studio described the movie as "following the loss of his wife and child" Sounds like a good mixture for old fans and new fans. Hurry up 2015!

Randy's "review" sells the film for me. However, Frosty over at Collider has heard different about it.
Also from the Collider article, from a reader...Steven Weintraub
@colliderfrosty
MAD MAX: FURY ROAD test screening was last night. Sorry to report, I didn't hear good things.
Steven Weintraub @colliderfrosty
@ThePlaylist I've been hearing dreadful things for a long time.

and 2 be clear: I hope MAD MAX: FURY ROAD is the best film of 2015. But you don't keep delaying a great movie. Hope what I was told is wrong
“Just saw a Mad Max advance screening. I can’t say much about it but let’s just hope they do tons of re-shoots before it’s released next year, or start again from scratch. Also Tom Hardy can’t stop doing the Bane voice. So annoying.”

http://67.227.255.239/forum/showpost.ph ... stcount=42My friend said it was pretty badass, basically one long chase movie. He felt the current cut was pushing the PG-13 limit, and naturally encouraged them to just go full R.
Ha. I hope everyone just wrote "Fuck it! Go full R with this!" on their questionnaires.

Two things:
1. Not bothered by criticism that's not constructive.
2. MAKE IT FULL R DAMNIT!!

Yeah, I mean Harry from Ain't it cool has heard nothing but great things and from the 3 people I've spoken to they've raved about it too and are surprised WB aren't advertising it yet.
